Space Meridian is a product-driven R&D lab that spun out of Protocol Labs in early 2024. We ship protocols and systems rooted in privacy, verifiability, cryptography, self-sovereignty, and long-term resilience.
Our flagship project is Filecoin Beam, the incentivized data-delivery layer for Filecoin, and we’ve also developed foundational work including Checker Network, the Filecoin Spark Protocol, and Filecoin Station.
Our next frontier is the economic architecture of the web itself. We’re exploring x402 and the convergence of payments, identity, and verifiable credentials inside the HTTP request. We believe there exists a new, privacy-first business model for the internet, where value transfer, access, and trust all happen seamlessly and without intermediaries. Space Meridian is delivering the protocols that enable an internet economy, grounded in user privacy and verifiability.
